Many problems turn out to be minor and easily treatable when you know what to do. If it can be dealt with like this, then you save your insurance excess and be back in bed rather than waiting in a foreign doctor's surgery!

What if you were prescribed with drugs locally but did not know what they were, how they might react with you/other drug you might be taking?

Simply call our HealthHelpline and speak to our pharmacists. They'll explain exactly what you've been prescribed, what it does and outline any reactions you should expect.

The same pharmacists will also be able to tell you the local brand name of your drugs (in case you were to forget your supplies, or run out whilst away).

Do you suffer from a minor (or major) allergy? If you were incorrectly served with something, could it be enough to ruin your holiday - or your health?
